Our Story
Founded in 2022, the Burrito Challenge has been blessed to serve the Wichita community through the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of those who support this mission. What began as a simple act of service has grown into a meaningful outreach rooted in faith, compassion, and a deep desire to encounter Christ in those we serve.

Each week, we are called to go beyond providing food, we offer clothing, essential items, and, most importantly, a sense of dignity, hope, and human connection to our brothers and sisters in need.

This mission continues to grow because of hearts willing to serve and hands open to give. Together, we are not only meeting needs, but sharing love, restoring dignity, and bringing the light of Christ into our community.

About Us
At our core, we are committed to feeding the hungry and sharing God’s love with those in need in Wichita, Kansas. What we do is simple, but it is rooted in something greater: a call to love our neighbor as Christ loves us.

Join us every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the southwest corner of Broadway and Central, in the parking lot of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. There, we come together to serve our brothers and sisters by providing food, clothing, and essential items.
​
But more than that, we offer compassion, presence, and a reminder that no one is forgotten. Through warm meals, kind hearts, and faithful service, we strive to bring hope, dignity, and the love of Christ to those who need it most.
